Its 2012 now.

So this is the year in which everything is supposed to happen.  I am on the fence about the Mayan calendar myself, but I will not discount the possibility of the calendar being self fulfilling.  As the date approaches, I would not be surprise if there was a steep rise in crime in the cities, and rampant buying of goods.  Because of this, preparing takes on a whole new priority, because you don't want to have to be in the situation if it arises.  There is a better chance for unneeded panic leading up to 12/21/2012 than some other outside occurrence.  But, with that said, I am still wary of some type of major global movement or announcement that may become the tipping point.  We shall see, if it is Gods will.
